Holiday revelers will gather in downtown Mountain View tonight for the city’s annual tree-lighting ceremony.
The festivities include holiday music, refreshments, arts and crafts, a mini snow area and a visit by Santa Claus.
The celebration takes place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Civic Center Plaza, 500 Castro St. Santa will arrive at 6:15 p.m.
Residents are encouraged to contribute a can of food to the “Giving Tree.” The food will go to the Community Services Agency of Mountain View-Los Altos’ Holiday Sharing Program.
