A one-alarm fire that started this morning in a Diamond Heights home left three family members displaced, according to the San Francisco Fire Department.

Firefighters responded to a fully involved fire at a two-story home at 328 Gold Mine Drive at about 5:50 a.m. and the blaze was controlled by about 6:40 a.m., fire Lt. Mindy Talmadge said.

A 70-year-old woman was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation, while her 21-year-old son was transported to a nearby hospital with burns on his hands and back, Talmadge said. The woman’s husband was not injured in the fire.

Two firefighters suffered minor injuries in the blaze.

The fire caused about $200,000 in structure damage and about $100,000 of damage to contents, Talmadge said. The American Red Cross provided assistance to the family.

The cause of the fire appears to be accidental.
