Firefighters are responding to a fire at a San Jose apartment complex this afternoon, a fire department spokesman said.
The two-alarm fire was reported at 1:16 p.m. at 2275 South Bascom Ave., fire Capt. Chuck Rangel said.
Rangel said it appears that two units are involved and that occupants are likely being evacuated.
He did not yet know if anyone was injured in the fire.
