Police are investigating the vandalism of 46 cars along Woodland Avenue in San Carlos early Saturday morning.
Officers were alerted to the vandalism by two victims whose car tires had been punctured. A survey of the neighborhood revealed that a total of 46 cars that had been vandalized, 44 with punctured tires and two with smashed windows, according to police.
The vandalism happened between midnight and 6 a.m. in the area of Aster Road, Woodland Avenue, Greenwood Avenue, Cedar Street and Eaton Avenue.
Police estimated the damage caused by the vandals at $13,400.
