Children who are battling illness at the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose will get to spend time with San Jose Giants baseball players today.
The entire team, along with manager Andy Skeels, will visit the 19 children who are in the pediatrics ward, pediatrics intensive care and burn center, and give each one autographed trading cards and pennants.
The Giants hold the title of ‘First Half Northern Division California League Champions’ for the fifth consecutive year, as well as the California League Record.
The event will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the hospital, located at 751 South Bascom Ave.
