Police are investigating the death of a girl in Oakland early this morning.
At about 3 a.m., police received a report of an unresponsive female at in the 3700 block of Webster Street.
She was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead, Oakland police spokesman Jeff Thomason said.
Thomason said the victim was a juvenile but police have not released her name or age.
