Palo Alto police are investigating a theft at Gunn High School over the weekend in which someone stole $200 that had been collected for earthquake victims in Haiti, Officer Marianna Villaescuela said today.
Villaescusa said it appears the thief entered a classroom through an open window and stole the cash sometime between Friday and Monday.
The money had been donated by students, she said.
No arrests have been made in the case.
