Two lanes of westbound Interstate Highway 580 in Pleasanton have been closed this morning because of a multi-vehicle crash, according to a California Highway Patrol officer.
The No. 4 and 5 lanes were closed just east of Dougherty Road, CHP Officer John Short said. A Sig-alert was issued at 5:59 a.m.
He estimated the lanes would reopen around 7 a.m.
Two people involved in the crash complained of pain in their back and neck, Short said.
