Los Gatos-Monte Sereno police officers are investigating possible ATM fraud at a Chase bank where last month a man was captured on surveillance video tampering with the machine.
Police responded to the alleged ATM fraud at the Chase bank located at 15698 Los Gatos Blvd.
Surveillance video footage captured on July 24 shows an unidentified man tampering with an ATM machine, according to police. Since then, bank employees have identified numerous suspicious withdrawals believed to be somehow related to regular customer use of the same machine, police said.
Police believe other banks in the area might have been targeted in a similar manner. Residents are advised to be aware of suspicious withdrawals associated with their accounts and to immediately report any suspicious or unauthorized activity.
