A Seaside man could face almost seven years in state prison for stealing prescriptions and medical supplies from his neighbor, according to the Monterey County District Attorney’s Office.
Ronald Dale Mcalmond, 52, was convicted of residential burglary, a crime that carries a maximum sentence of six years and eight months in prison.
Prosecutors said he broke into his next-door neighbor’s home and took numerous prescriptions and medical supplies.
Mcalmond was also found in violation of probation on two possession of methamphetamine cases, according to prosecutors.
Mcalmond will return to court for sentencing on Aug. 11.
