A 48-year-old woman was arrested in San Jose Thursday afternoon on a DUI charge after she crashed her Nissan into a parked U.S. Postal Service truck and narrowly missed the letter carrier, police spokesman Dirk Parsons said.
Following the crash, which occurred at about 1:50 p.m. in a cul-de-sac in the 5000 block of Tottenham Court, police arrested the driver of the Nissan, identified as Sandra Smith Guy.
Guy suffered injuries in the crash and was taken to a hospital, Parsons said.
