AAA is extending help to members whose homes or vehicles have been damaged in the Lockheed Fire in the Santa Cruz Mountains and who need to file a claim, according to AAA.
Members can receive assistance in filing their claims at three branches, according to AAA. Help is available at the Los Gatos branch, located at 101 Blossom Hill Road; at the Gilroy branch, located at 1395 First St.; and at the Capitola branch, located at 4400 Capitola Road, Suite 100.
Members can also receive assistance by calling (800) 922-8228.
As of Saturday night, crews had the flames 40 percent contained, according to Cal Fire.
The fire is burning across 6,850 acres in the Santa Cruz Mountains and has damaged two outbuildings, according to Cal Fire.
No residences have burned.
The blaze has forced the evacuation of nearly 2,400 residents in the Bonny Doon and Swanton communities since Wednesday.
