Man arrested on suspicion of leaving threatening phone message to Chicago mayor

A 39-year-old San Jose man was arrested at his home Thursday afternoon on suspicion of leaving a threatening phone message to Chicago Mayor Richard Daley.

San Jose police officers arrested Christopher Fox about 12:40 p.m. on a warrant issued by the Chicago Police Department, San Jose police spokesman Dirk Parsons said.

Fox was booked into Santa Clara County main jail.

Chicago police are investigating the incident.
