Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found inside a Santa Clara motel room this morning.
Officers received a report at about 10:20 a.m. of a possibly deceased person at the St. Francis Motel at 2222 The Alameda, police Lt. Phil Cooke said.
Cooke said “the circumstances of the death are suspicious, but we’re not ready to say it’s a homicide.”
The man appeared to be in his 40s, Cooke said.
