One person was arrested in San Jose Thursday night in connection with attacking a motorist, police spokesman Dirk Parsons said.
Officers received a report of an assault at South Almaden Avenue and West Virginia Street around 9:40 p.m., Parsons said.
Investigators determined four suspects had assaulted and yanked a man out of his car, he said.
The victim fell out of the car and landed on the road, but his car continued rolling a short distance and struck a building, Parsons said.
The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
One suspect was arrested on an assault with a deadly weapon charge and booked into Santa Clara County main jail.
The other three suspects are unidentified and outstanding.
