The Panetta Institute for Public Policy will invite David Plouffe, former campaign manager for President Obama, and Karl Rove, senior advisor to President George W. Bush for a lecture today at the Monterey Conference Center.
They will be discussing “Challenges Facing the New Administration: Can Partisan Divide Ever End?” as part of Panetta Institute’s 2009 lecture series.
The lecture will be moderated by Frank Sesno, an Emmy-Award winning former political analyst for CNN.
Media availability will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the Panetta Institute for Public Policy, Building 86E on the California State University Monterey Bay campus, which is located at 100 Campus Center in Seaside.
The lecture will take place at 6:50 p.m. at Steinbeck Forum at the Monterey Conference Center.
