San Jose police are trying to locate a group of men who assaulted two other men in the city on Friday.
The incident was reported at about 10:15 p.m. in the area of Rigoletto Drive and South King Road.
Police said six to eight men struck the two victims over the head with a wooden object and stabbed one of the victims multiple times.
The victims were transported to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
The suspects were last seen running east on Rigoletto Drive.
