person was shot in Oakland tonight, according to the Police Department.
Officers responded to the 2600 block of 38th Avenue around 6:30 p.m. and found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound, police said.
The victim was transported to a hospital and is in stable condition.
No suspects have been arrested, according to police.
