Police investigate armed robbery at 7-Eleven store

Santa Rosa police are investigating the armed robbery of a 7-Eleven convenience store in the city early this morning.

The robbery was reported at about 2:55 a.m. today at the 7-Eleven store, located at 1779 Corby Ave.

Arriving officers were informed by a store clerk that a male had entered the store wearing a gray bandana covering his face, and had demanded money while displaying a gun.

The clerk complied and the suspect left the store, running south toward Corby Avenue, according to police.

No injuries were reported.

Based on a surveillance video, the suspect is believed to be around 5 feet 8 inches tall with a thin build. He was seen wearing a black and white hooded sweatshirt, black t-shirt, blue jeans and black tennis shoes.
